Hermeneutics is the term used to refer to the methodology of correctly interpreting Scripture. The follow are tools to help you study the Scriptures. The first is the Four Levels of Hebrew Interpretation using the Hebrew word Pardes as an acronym. Second are the Seven Hermeneutical Rules of Hillel. Third are the common Eight Rules of Hermeneutics. Finally, we have given you step-by-step instructions on how to conduct a Biblical word study. The example explains how to take a Greek word from the New Testament and discover its contextual meaning in the Old Testament.
